Single Stop Expands Its Footprint to California Revolutionizing Californians’ Access to Essential Resources

New York, NY– Single Stop today announces the launch of its operations in California, marking a new milestone in the organization’s mission to address comprehensive health and social support needs nationwide. Single Stop’s unique one-stop-shop model combines innovative technology with community networks, providing Californians with centralized access to public benefits and resources essential for building a pathway to an economically sustainable and successful future.
Single Stop offers cutting-edge social services technology solutions. Key among these offerings is Single Stop’s comprehensive benefit screener, designed to determine eligibility for 21 federal, state, and local benefits, serving as a valuable resource for Californians. This user-friendly online tool helps quickly and accurately identify the benefits an individual may be eligible for, further easing the process of navigating complex public benefits systems.
Single Stop can now cover the entire Golden State, from major metros like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego to smaller cities and rural communities; the organization has vetted and verified over 18,000 local community resources in an interactive map that facilitates easy access for Californians.
Single Stop has consistently demonstrated its capacity to enact meaningful change in regions characterized by diverse populations, vast economic disparities, and complex public benefits systems. In FY2022, the organization showcased its impactful efficacy, serving over 87.5 thousand individuals by connecting them to benefits and resources valued at $374 million. A critical aspect of Single Stop’s service, the benefit screener, achieved an exceptional accuracy rate. Out of the individuals who completed a screening, 95% were identified as eligible for the benefits they applied for.
“With our growth into California, we are doing more than just extending our geographical reach. This is a significant step forward in our ongoing mission to revolutionize access to essential resources,” said Martin Hanna, President and CEO of Single Stop. “By bridging the gap between Californians and the services they need, we aim to simplify their journey toward economic sustainability.”
Maintaining a standard of delivering a user-friendly and efficient comprehensive solution, Single Stop caters to a diverse audience spanning higher education, early childhood, K-12 settings, community-based organizations, healthcare institutions, and human resources departments. Opportunities exist for professionals within these sectors to schedule demonstrations, allowing them to explore the potential of Single Stop technology in enhancing their organization’s reach and impact.
