For Consumers
We are a nonprofit organization that helps people identify public benefits and local resources that can improve financial stability. Through our technology and partnerships with colleges, utilities, financial institutions, community organizations, and other service providers, we bring benefit screening, application guidance, and nearby support resources into one place. Our platform helps people navigate available support; the government agencies and service providers that administer each program make eligibility and enrollment decisions.
You answer questions about your household, income, expenses, and circumstances through our secure online screener. In about 10 to 15 minutes, our platform provides a personalized list of programs for which you may be eligible, estimated annual values where available, step-by-step benefit guides, and links to begin applying. You can also search for nearby food, housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, and other community resources. Some participating organizations provide staff assistance after the screening.
Our platform screens for dozens of federal and state programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Depending on where you live and your household circumstances, results may include food assistance such as SNAP and WIC; health coverage such as Medicaid and CHIP; utility programs such as LIHEAP and weatherization; tax credits; childcare and early-learning programs; and other forms of support. Our community resource map also connects people to hundreds of thousands of local service locations. Program coverage varies by state.
Our platform screens for potential eligibility and guides you through the next steps for each program. Applications are submitted to the government agency or service provider responsible for the benefit, and some participating organizations also offer application assistance.
Your results show programs for which you may be eligible. The agency that administers each program confirms eligibility after reviewing your application and supporting documents. Because funding, enrollment periods, and available program slots can affect access, we encourage you to apply promptly and provide complete information.
Most people complete the screener in about 10 to 15 minutes on a phone, tablet, or computer. Questions may cover household members, income, work, education, expenses, health coverage, military service, taxes, and citizenship because different programs use different rules. The screening does not require a Social Security number.
No. Our customers license Single Stop and provide it free of charge to the members, students, consumers, or clients they serve.
You can access our platform through a college, utility, financial institution, healthcare provider, employer, or community organization that has licensed our software. If an organization has invited you to use our platform, follow its dedicated link so you receive the experience and follow-up support available to your community. If you are unsure whether an organization you use offers our platform, contact that organization or our support team.
We collect the information needed to provide screening, account, referral, communication, and support services. Information may be shared with the organization that made our platform available to you, authorized case workers, and service providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data. We use layered security controls, and you can contact our support team to exercise applicable privacy rights.
Review each benefit guide, gather the listed documents, and follow the application link or instructions for the programs you want to pursue. You can save resources, return to your account and record progress. If your sponsoring organization offers case-worker support, its staff may contact you or help with applications and referrals. We may also send reminders to help you continue taking action.
For Customers
We work with colleges and universities, utilities, financial institutions, community-based organizations, healthcare organizations, government agencies, employers, retailers, and other organizations that want to help the people they serve overcome financial barriers. These organizations license our platform and provide access to their students, customers, members, employees, or communities.
Our platform combines a rules-based benefits screener, personalized benefit guides and application links, a nationwide community resource map, client profiles, referrals, case management, outcome tracking, and reporting. It supports both self-service and staff-assisted use.
We combine functions that are often separated. Our platform helps a person identify multiple federal and state benefits, understand estimated value and next steps, find local resources, and continue into application or referral activity. Our platform supports custom benefits for your organization, staff workflows, engagement, case management, and impact reporting. This helps you move people from discovery toward action, follow up and sustained engagement all in one place, a “single stop.”
Yes. Our benefits screening and community-resource capabilities are available across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The specific benefits screened, eligibility rules, estimated values, application instructions, and local resources vary by state and location. We maintain and update program rules as laws and program requirements change.
We give organizations a scalable way to identify financial barriers, connect people to support, and understand engagement and potential impact. Our platform can strengthen an existing assistance program, extend support to people who may never ask for help, reduce manual research by staff, and create a common system for screening, referrals, case activity, and reporting. The most relevant business outcomes depend on the sector, for example, student persistence, utility affordability, member and employee financial well-being, or more efficient service delivery.
Authorized staff can view screening activity, potential eligibility, demographic and program trends, referrals, application-related activity, case status, and reported outcomes, subject to configuration and permissions. Our dashboards and filtered reports help organizations understand reach, adoption, identified need, next-step activity, and impact. Where customers can lawfully connect activity from our platform to their own outcome data, they can also evaluate results such as persistence, payment behavior, or service utilization.
Successful implementation combines technology with ownership, outreach, and human support. We work with customers to configure access, train staff, establish workflows and reporting goals, and develop an engagement plan. Customers identify an executive sponsor and operational owner, determine how users will be invited, and decide who will help people take next steps. Marketing outreach and visible integration into existing services are central to adoption.
We provide onboarding, training, technical assistance, adoption guidance, performance reviews, and ongoing customer-success support. Our team helps customers interpret usage data, improve outreach, refine workflows, and share practices across similar organizations. This support helps customers make our platform part of their normal service experience rather than a stand-alone link.
We have completed a SOC 2 Type II audit and report compliance with ISO 27001:2022 and WCAG 2.1 AA. We have also achieved TX-RAMP Level 2 certification for applicable Texas public-sector use. Access to personal information is permission-based, and data use and sharing are governed by customer agreements and our Privacy Policy. During implementation, we work with each organization to review its intended workflow, data exchange, and regulatory requirements.
In fiscal year 2025, we served approximately 71,600 individuals and identified $924.9 million in potential benefits, with average potential eligibility of $24,700 per screened household. These figures reflect potential eligibility identified through screening. We report confirmed applications and benefits received separately when they are verified by individuals or customer data.
We license our platform to organizations, with pricing based on the size and scope of the population served, selected capabilities, and implementation requirements. A discovery conversation and demonstration help us define the intended population, desired outcomes, outreach plan, workflows, reporting needs, and implementation approach before we prepare a proposal.
