Single Stop provides free tax assistance to low-income families, including in-person tax preparation for residents of New York and a nationwide self-guided service.

In-Person Income Requirement: Single $56,000 or less, Families $80,000 or less
Below are the documents to help you prepare for your appointment. Please complete the relevant forms, print them, and bring them with you on the day of your appointment.Direct Deposit Form: For taxpayers who wish to receive their refund via direct deposit. [Download]
Dependent Child Care Sheet: For taxpayers who had a child or children 13 years of age or younger for which they had childcare expenses during the tax year. [Download]
Self-Employed Statement –No expenses: anyone who owned a business or a sole proprietor LLC or worked for themself, received cash income during the tax year and had no business expenses. [Download]
