A LITTLE ABOUT US
Single Stop is a national non-profit that collaborates with higher-education institutions to connect students in need with the assistance required to increase the probability of succeeding in their educational careers. In addition to the technology suite, Single Stop also provides quality training and technical assistance to ensure our clients are best equipped to provide support to their student population.

COLORADO’S ECONOMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM
Governor Jared Polis expanded the Economic Mobility Program by authorizing Colorado’s Department of Higher Education (CDHE) to create partnerships with businesses that use an online platform to assist students in accessing public benefits.
Colorado Department of Higher Education has allocated a
portion of its grant funding to provide college learners gain
access to needed federal and state benefits through online
platforms.
CDHE’s collaboration with Single Stop is propelled by shared values of helping students with the human need to find resources for food, housing, & economic instability. The challenge to build a Colorado for all requires teamwork, clear aim, and placing a priority on helping others.
For this collaboration, CDHE will provide one-time assistance in subsidizing the cost of obtaining Single Stop licensing for higher institutions statewide.

designation already understand
the importance of helping
students succeed outside the
classroom. Single Stop can help
customers achieve up to seven
of the Hunger-Free goals set by
CDHE.
PROVEN RESULTS
Single Stop exists to help the millions affected by food, housing, and economic instability. Studies completed by third-party corporations
showcased that colleges that implemented Single Stop programs had significantly higher student persistence (continued enrollment or
completion of higher education) in the consecutive subsequent semesters. Most notably, first-time college students who utilized Single
Stop services were 9.6% more likely to persist than their peers. The Rand Corporation study was conducted for one academic year,
while Metis Associates studied data over three and a half academic years.
